Jennifer Urdang Stern
I am the Founder and Creative Director of 452 Design, established in 2003 to meet a clear need in the market: high-level, strategic design of a traditional agency without the overhead, inflated pricing, or account team layers. Clients work directly with me — the designer actually doing the work — for a true one-on-one creative partnership.
At 452, I oversee every project from start to finish — guiding strategy, creative direction, and execution. My approach blends deep expertise with a clear, collaborative process and a commitment to keeping clients on-trend, relevant, and ready to grow.
Before launching my own studio, I was Senior Art Director at one of Philadelphia’s leading design studios, where I led projects for national brands and high-growth startups, managing everything from strategy through production — a perfect launching pad for the creation of 452.
With studios in Philadelphia and London, and long-term clients across industries, I bring trusted leadership, flexible scale, and fresh creative thinking to every engagement.
Beyond studio work, I am passionate about giving back — teaching, mentoring, and donating design time to nonprofits and causes I believe in. Read more about it..
Amanda Andreucci
Amanda Andreucci, Jen’s former star student, is a graphic designer and Creative Collaborator, brought on to help meet the evolving needs of today’s brands — from dynamic social content to digital campaigns and packaging that packs a punch.
Amanda seamlessly partners with 452 Design on projects that call for bold, modern visuals that resonate across digital-first platforms and younger audiences. Her aesthetic is sharp and current — a natural complement to Jen’s strategic depth and design experience, including for clients whose audiences span generations.
Together, Jen and Amanda offer clients the best of both: fresh, forward-thinking design backed by years of expertise and big-picture perspective.
We have a creative collaboration where Jen brings the strategy and design expertise, and Amanda brings the cool-factor and cultural fluency of a new generation — particularly in web and social spaces — keeping our work fresh, relevant, and strategically on point.

Teaching
Teaching fuels my passion for giving back. Inspired by the lasting impact of my own professors and mentors, I always aspired to support the next generation of creatives. In 2018, I became an adjunct professor at Tyler School of Art & Architecture, where I was honored with the Distinguished Adjunct Faculty Award in 2021. In 2024, I joined the faculty at Moore College of Art & Design, where I teach Typography to college juniors.
Nonprofit work
I’ve long woven service and community leadership into my design career. I was Co-Chair and Co-Founder of the Young Friends of the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania; an original member of the Teen Empowerment Program Committee for Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Philadelphia; Co-Chair of the Young Friends of the American Associates of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev; and Co-Chair of the Pink Tie Ball for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Philadelphia.
I currently serve on the Directors Leadership Council at the Abramson Cancer Center — where Daniel Stern and I received the Distinguished Partners in Hope Award in 2015 — and served on the Executive Development Committee at Friends’ Central School through 2024. I also serve on the Graphic Arts Occupational Advisory Committee at Jules Mastbaum High School in the School District of Philadelphia and led the redesign of the children’s playroom at Families Forward, a Philadelphia-based homeless shelter.
My pro bono and nonprofit design clients have included Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, Drexel University Center for Hunger-Free Communities, and the Vetri Foundation for Children. In 2025, I created and developed the LA Strong Now + Always campaign in response to the California wildfires — directing 100% of proceeds to fire victims through a design-driven relief effort.
My work has also been featured in the We the Women traveling poster exhibition, including two posters highlighting women’s voices in design and activism.
