From merch to trade show design — we'll skip the whole archive — but here’s a quick look at how the Purely brand was born.

The Brief: This project came at a pivotal moment: the founder of Purely Elizabeth had just realized the public interest in her homemade healthy baking mixes. Jen Stern conceived and created the original Purely Elizabeth brand identity in 2009 —before the first product was even on the market. The challenge: craft a look that felt fresh and credible from day one — and stand out from the competitors — and strong enough to grow with the brand for years to come.

The Result: Jen created a cohesive visual identity that could evolve from hand-applied labels in Elizabeth’s kitchen to packaging on shelves nationwide. Sixteen years later, the original branding still defines the company—and marks the early evolution of a brand that quickly became a national household name.
